A Victorian semi in Berkhamsted refurbished from top to bottom: floors up, a wall out on a new steel, new bathrooms, a kitchen, herringbone floors downstairs and every room redecorated.
We took the house back to its structure. Floorboards came up, ceilings came down, and the wall between the kitchen and the back room was removed on a new steel beam, with the floors above propped while it went in.
The bathrooms were stripped to brick and rebuilt: a freestanding metal bath under the sash window, walk-in showers with green and sage tiles, and steel-framed glazed doors. Downstairs has a new kitchen with an island and a herringbone floor through the hall and dining room, and upstairs the bedrooms have new carpets and fitted wardrobes.
